This morning as my daughter Jenn and I left our hotel to head to the Mall of America the temperature outside was -4 degrees. That's not a dash in front of the 4 - it was MINUS 4 degrees! Why do you people live here???
I will admit it has been worth it though - I got to see both DeEtta and Pat, AND we got to meet Pat's daughter and husband. Pat's daughter is also pregnant and she is due almost exactly the same time as my daughter Jenn. We had a great time catching up and enjoying a few adult beverages (not the preggo girls though!)

Here is another of Pat and I after we were feeling pretty relaxed and getting cozy with a tiki god totem pole (or whatever the heck that thing was...) I'm not sure what Pat's doing with her hand in its mouth...
All in all, it was an absolutely wonderful evening!
